Who We Are
BIPOC Talent Network is an initiative created to bridge the gap between BIPOC performers and the theatre companies, casting teams, and creative organizations actively seeking them.
Founded in collaboration with the Columbus Black Theatre Coalition (CBTC), our mission is to create equitable access, visibility, and opportunity for artists who have historically been underrepresented in the industry.
We believe that talent exists everywhere and access does not.
We’re here to change that.
What We Do
FOR BIPOC TALENT
-
Curated audition notices
-
Casting calls seeking BIPOC performers
-
Industry opportunities (theatre, film, TV, touring)
-
Direct access to companies prioritizing inclusive casting
No more digging through endless casting sites, we bring the right opportunities to you.
Why This Matters
The industry has long acknowledged the need for diversity but access to qualified, visible, and reachable talent pools has remained a challenge.
BIPOC Talent Network solves this by:
-
Centralizing talent
-
Organizing outreach
-
Increasing visibility
-
Reducing barriers between artists and opportunities
This isn’t just about representation, it’s about access, efficiency, and meaningful change.
FOR CASTING TEAMS
-
Access to a growing database of BIPOC performers
-
Targeted outreach to specific demographics (when appropriate)
-
A streamlined way to share casting needs
-
Support in building more inclusive productions
Instead of broad, unfocused casting calls, connect directly with the talent you’re seeking.
